This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS coupe is powered by a replacement 396ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and is said to have been acquired by the current owner’s late father in the late 1990s. It is finished in green over black vinyl upholstery and equipped with a Positraction differential, an aluminum intake manifold and cylinder heads, a Holley carburetor, a dual exhaust system, 15″ Rally wheels, a black vinyl roof, black stripes, chrome bumpers, front and rear spoilers, an Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo, and a Hurst shifter.

The replacement 396ci V8 is said to have been sourced from a 1969 Chevelle, and it is equipped with an aluminum intake manifold and GM “Snowflake” aluminum cylinder heads as well as a Holley four-barrel carburetor and polished valve covers. The engine stamp shown above includes the suffix ‘JD,’ which is consistent with a 1969 Chevelle or El Camino 396ci V8 rated at 375 horsepower.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and an optional Positraction differential. A dual exhaust system is fitted.
