This 1966 Cadillac Eldorado convertible is finished in Ember Firemist over white leather upholstery and is powered by a 429ci V8 mated with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a power-operated white convertible soft top, fender skirts, vertical taillights, power windows, power steering and brakes, automatic climate control, Twilight Sentinel headlight control, a power front bench seat, cruise control, and a push-button AM/FM radio.
The body left the factory finished in Ember Firemist (98). Features include a power-operated white convertible soft top, chrome bumpers and rocker trim, a driver’s side mirror, removable rear fender skirts, stacked headlights, and a power antenna. The car is equipped with the Twilight Sentinel automatic lighting system, which allows the headlights to remain on for up to three minutes after the driver exits the vehicle.
Steel 15″ wheels wear Cadillac hubcaps and are mounted with 235/75 Hankook Optimo H724 white-stripe tires. A full-size spare and jack are mounted in the trunk. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted drums at all four corners.
The 429ci V8 was factory rated at 340 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque and features a four-barrel Carter carburetor. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
