Description

This 1962 Cadillac Series 62 is a black-over-white convertible that is powered by a 390ci V8 mated to a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. The car left the factory finished in Ebony Black (10) and was repainted approximately 10 years ago. The power-operated white convertible top is covered by a matching vinyl boot when lowered, and additional details include tail fins, rear fender skirts, and chrome headlight and taillight bezels.

Chrome-finished 20″ American Racing Torq Thrust wheels are mounted with 245/50 Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The 390ci V8 is equipped with an Edelbrock carburetor, an aluminum intake manifold, a dual exhaust system, and a finned air cleaner housing and valve covers. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission.
